No matter what you do for a living the more you know about the people you are associating and communicating with the better you will be able to understand their wants and needs! It’s especially helpful trying to gain members to your multi line marketing business. As the saying goes choleric, melancholy, phlegmatic, or sanguine know your mlm recruit’s temperament.

Everyone the world over has certain defined personality traits. Some take to computers like ducks to water, while others can put pen to paper and show their aptitude as an artist or poet. Still others may be the class clown while their opposites will not speak their own name unless coaxed from them. Which brings me to the point of this article; in order to keep the gift of gab going, we need to be able to identify who we are talking with.

As a recruiter for an online business you need every advantage possible because there are so many people trying to get individuals to follow them to their sites. It doesn’t matter if you work with, for, or just meeting the first time, there are certain traits that you can observe if you are trained too. When you know how to judge what characteristics people have, relating to them becomes easier!

To have people follow your lead you need to gain their trust and there are so many snake oil salesmen out in Cyberville no one is real sure who they can trust. Until you get to know them you are just another person on skype or some website that is looking to pick their pockets. You need to come across as a genuine person not some plastic person that wants their plastic.

To figure out people you have to identify their personality; everyone has a different persona unique to their character. In online circles they go by the color system and is a whole lot easier to pronounce than the medical terminology.

Phlegmatic=Yellow

Melancholy=Green

Choleric=Red

Sanguine=Blue

Phlegmatic/Yellow: Introvert/Wants to make Friends/Easygoing/Patient/Controlled/ David Letterman is one

Melancholy/Green: Introvert/Need the Facts & Figures/Analytical/Pessimistic/Socially Insecure/ Jerry Seinfeld

Choleric/Red: Extrovert/Keep out of the way/Born Leader/Unemotional/Aggressive/General Schwarzkopf

Sanguine/Blue: Extrovert/Must have Fun/Cheerful/Spontaneous/Has to be Front & Center/Robin Williams

There is so much information about the choleric, melancholy, phlegmatic, and sanguine characteristics that I will attempt to write, at least, an article for each one. Then you will know your mlm recruit’s temperament, or at least have a general idea of what to look for! There can be combinations of two or more; some people are characterized by one distinguishing temperament and a blend of others!

This can be invaluable when you develop the skills to tell the difference between the temperaments and apply the traits to the people you are hoping to recruit! By the by I am a Blue/Green or Sanguine is my dominate temperament with a strong second place in Melancholy!
